Birthing Center at GRMC
Whether you’re expecting your first child or looking forward to another, you can have confidence that GRMC’s Birthing Center is the perfect place to welcome a new life. Our goal is to provide you with quality and compassionate care throughout all phases of your pregnancy. GRMC’s Birthing Center provides educational classes and other resources to assist you during this exciting new time.
The Birthing Center at GRMC is designed with mother and baby in mind. Our inviting facility and programs support you from the time you find out you are pregnant through post-delivery – including certified a lactation consultant and extensive education programs.
In our Birthing Center you’ll find:
- A family-centered care model
- In-house anesthesia services
- A wide variety of pain management options, including nitrous oxide
- Comfortable labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum rooms
- Dedicated surgical suites for obstetrical procedures
- On-Staff neonatologist
- All private mother/baby rooms

- Certified lactation consultant to support you with any breastfeeding challenges
